Well, that’s the macro level… but what about you? Are you living your life the way you want? That’s the most important question that you must face if you ever want to live a life of fulfillment and self-actualization. And the sooner the better: remember, you’ve only got one life, one shot to live fully… then it’s over!

What can you then do to let your happiness bloom?

  • First of all, stop living like a robot. Before you do all over again all the things you’ve been doing for years, stop, and think whether they are good for you or not. Do you enjoy most of the things you do in a day? Do you love what you do for a living? Be honest: only you know the answer – no one can help you, no one’s watching… no one but your conscience, your first and last judge. Are you satisfied with your present life? If you’re not, it’s time to change: only lunatics expect to get a different result from doing the same things over and over again.
  • Second, if there are parts of your current life which are not as good as they should be, change. But don’t wait, start changing now – tomorrow is too late because tomorrow only exists in your head.
  • Third, find inspiration to change. Only you can change your life, but external inspiration is fundamental to give you the motivation to change. Remember: changing your life takes a personal effort, business as usual doesn’t.

There are many books out there that can inspire and motivate you to change, but since this is my blog, I will offer mine, Looking for Happiness? Look Inside!  for your consideration.

Why this book? After healing from 5 years of anorexic daymare (which I covered in my first book) and starting a new life with the turn of the millennium, I devoted the last 20 years of my life to understanding happiness: what is it? where does it come from? and, more importantly, what can we do to live happier lives? And while I’m still working on it, and while I don’t pretend to have all the answers, in these 20 years of research and reflection I found many ways to improve my life, maybe even to live in full happiness, and I decided to share them in a book

To celebrate the International Day of Happiness I’ve discounted my book for the whole week to $0.99, so if you want to change your life, why not start right now? I’m not selling you a magic wand that will immediately change your life and give you all the happiness you desire – don’t be fooled: nobody can – but I am offering you a book full of ideas to help you change and better your life. The rest is in your hands.

Maybe you don’t need to invest a fortune to improve your life… maybe all it takes is just one dollar.

Enjoy life!
